Shop Assistant

Background

A customer needed a way for its employees and retirees to easily access the company store. Company employees and retirees are eligible for special offers on their favorite goods. The company wished to join the era of smart mobile shopping and make their products more accessible to employees.

Project goals:

The goal was to build an app that made it easy for users to find their favorite items by brand and category as well as discover new products to try. The app needed to have a visually appealing design and a clear catalogue of all company brands and products. Users needed to be able to use various payment methods including gift certificates to submit orders, and a way to regularly replenish their frequent orders. Since the service was restricted to company employees and retirees, a custom login gateway was required to verify credentials and activate accounts.

Solution:

RomiSys created a solution matched to the client’s goals, delivered quickly and cost-efficiently. The app is designed to fit the company brand and to offer an inviting experience to the user with attractive colors, fonts, and menus. The primary screen is the Shop section which features the product catalogue organized by brand and accompanied by a search option. Users add their desired items to a shopping cart and can also save them for later in their Cupboard. In addition, a barcode scanning feature is integrated so users can quickly locate and reorder their items. The app is secured with a custom login system paired with the employee/retiree database.

The overall result is a convenient app for employees and a successful development experience for the client.
